Potential allotmenteers who are on the council waiting list for a plot on the Weald site can join BHOGG and learn how to garden organically while they wait for their own plot.
Brighton and Hove Organic Gardening Group (BHOGG) run a starter bed scheme in conjunction with the allotment team at Brighton and Hove Council. After a period of time on the waiting list, people are allocated a starter bed on our organic allotment where they can grow their own produce as well as help maintain the community beds on the rest of the allotment. It’s amazing just how much you can grow in a small space.
