A wildlife gardening walk and talk around the Whitehawk Community Food Project’s allotment. Come and hear how we can all encourage wildlife in our gardens, allotments and green spaces.
Kate Bradbury is an author, journalist and TV presenter specialising in wildlife gardening. She edits the wildlife pages of BBC Gardeners World Magazine and has a regular Country Diary column in The Guardian. She has written five books on wildlife gardening, including The Bumblebee Flies Anyway and Wildlife Gardening for Everyone and Everything. She presents on BBC Gardeners’ World and has made several films for BBC Springwatch as part of their Garden Watch campaign.
Kate is patron of the charities Froglife and the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, and an ambassador for Butterfly Conservation. Kate regularly talks at events, flower shows and festivals. She lives and breathes wildlife gardening, and lives near Brighton with a garden full of frogs, toads, slow worms, hedgehogs, birds and bees.
