Share your memories of Sussex & beyond: an invitation from Froglife

Froglife are excited to be holding two reminiscence sessions on the theme of ‘Wildlife Memories of Sussex & beyond’ with Brighton & Hove Libraries. These sessions are part of the ‘Discovering Dewponds’ Project. We’d love for you to join!

The sessions will be held at Patcham Library on Thursday 26th January and at Jubilee Library on Tuesday 31st January, both from 11am – 12:30pm. In each session we’ll share memories of wildlife and nature as a group over a free tea or coffee. Perhaps you have a favourite greenspace in Brighton & Hove, or you have a broad appreciation of the rolling hills of the South Downs? Perhaps you remember seeing tadpoles wriggling in ponds in the springs of your childhood, or you’ve witnessed the magic of murmurations of starlings flying above the West Pier? Come along and share these stories!

We’re really excited to be putting together a small ‘display of wildlife memories’ based upon the experiences of reminiscence session participants, to be exhibited across Brighton & Hove later in 2023. Therefore, there will be the option for you to be recorded sharing your stories in the session, to be published as part of the display.
