BHOGG Event: Whitehawk Community Food Project Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop

Come and join this friendly workshop up on Whitehawk Hill Allotments Saturday 12 February 2-4pm.

Simon Powell of Whitehawk Community Food Project will share his knowledge on winter fruit tree pruning of apples and pears.

Since 2001 Simon has been growing organic vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers and trees on allotments and in gardens. In 2003 he graduated from University of Sussex with a First-class BSc Hons in Ecology and Conservation. Simon is currently the Brighton & Hove Allotment Federation vice chair and Ecology officer.
