Change of Date from Sunday 20th September to Sunday 13th September

As you will be aware, the UK government are bringing in further restrictions on outside gatherings of non-family members of 6 or more people from Monday 14th September.
The BHOGG committee have considered two main options and have made the decision to bring the AGM date forward to this Sunday 13th, still meeting at the Weald allotment site.
It is with regret that we acknowledge that this will be too short notice for some members who had planned to attend on 20th September to change their plans, however, we felt it was important to have a physical meeting while distancing rules hold, rather than running an online meeting where we rely on technology which some may not have access to, and risk not being quorate, necessitating a further postponement of the AGM.
We hope that you will understand our need to be flexible in these ever-changing times and our endeavours to support the new rules around social distancing as they arise. We feel that this is an exceptional year which has caused some of our work to be heavily impacted; we have learnt a lot and will do all we can to ensure a smoother process for our AGM in 2021.
We look forward to welcoming any paid up BHOGG members to the meeting on Sunday.
